Backed by the trusted 30-year ministry of Playschool Preschool, a ministry of First Baptist Manlius, we bridge nurturing care with intentional instructor-led academic support in Language Arts and Math. Our Mission

We partner with local homeschool families to provide high-quality, faith infused supplemental ELA and Math tutoring in a collaborative group setting.

Our Vision

We envision a warm, welcoming environment filled with children who are anchored in their identity in Christ. Every child is intentionally created by God with a unique purpose, and we are here to help them discover and grow in that design. Through dynamic, hands-on learning in ELA and Math, our students collaborate and learn from one another and their instructor—building a community rooted in faith, discovery, and mutual support.

Our Model

Manlius Homeschool Enrichment operates for the single purpose of providing academic instruction to school-aged homeschool children. We are a supplemental educational outreach ministry of First Baptist Manlius. Parents retain 100% legal responsibility for maintaining NYS homeschool compliance.

Anchoring children in their identity in Christ is the foundation for everything we do. We believe that when learners know they are intentionally designed, uniquely gifted, and deeply loved by God, they develop the inner confidence to succeed academically and grow personally.

Program Highlights

To preserve close mentorship, our classes are strictly capped at 8 learners. We offer individualized attention across four distinct learning groups: our signature Kindergarten “Playschool Plus” class, plus combined groups for 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, and 5th-6th grades.

Our Schedule


Children meet for a dynamic academic experience three days per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:15 AM to 1:15 PM. Learning flows throughout the morning, with structured academic blocks, a lunch & fellowship time that incorporates read-alouds and literature discussions, and movement breaks in the gymnasium, where active games are used to reinforce the day’s academic concepts.

Fee

Our 2026–2027 monthly fee operates on a shared sliding scale tied directly to class size, ranging from $420 for 5 learners down to a base rate of $360 when a group reaches its maximum 8-learner cap. Because operational costs are shared across the room, we highly encourage families to invite friends to join our community, as every new enrollment directly lowers the monthly rate for all families in that group.
To ensure a viable, high-quality instructional experience, each learning group requires a minimum of 5 students to launch and maintain operations.

Meet the Director

Welcome to our new Manlius Homeschool Enrichment program! I’m honored to lead this expansion as Director, bringing my experience as a Pre-K–6th grade certified teacher and a Master’s in Education Administration to our growing community. When I’m not at school, I’m raising my children, ages 8, 10, and 18, on our family farm alongside my husband, Peter. Having seen my own children thrive in our preschool program, I am thrilled to extend our mission into the school-aged years.

I deeply believe God wants to see our classrooms full of children learning together in a supportive group, with Jesus at the heart of all they learn. By blending strong academic engagement with this faith-centered environment, we prepare school-aged students to be lifelong learners who are secure in their identity as beloved children of God. I look forward with joy to seeing this beautiful expansion come to life as God leads our community forward.

Daily Schedule & Flexible Options

Our Core 3-Day Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday

Our program offers an intentional blend of academic instruction in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math, community building, and play, all structured to build on and reinforce educational concepts. Our core schedule runs Tuesday through Thursday from 9:15 AM to 1:15 PM.

Instructor-supervised lunch with a read aloud and literature circle discussion.

A brief closing circle to reflect on our daily growth and look at where God was at work through our experiences and interactions.

Learning Groups

Playschool Plus: Our standalone kindergarten eligible class. Our Playschool Plus group is capped at 10 learners.

School Aged Pairings: Multi-age cohorts for 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, and 5th/6th grades.

Capped at 8 Students: Our enrollment limit ensure instructors have the time to deliver individualized instruction, personal attentiveness, and small-group learning tailored to each child’s developmental stage.

Our Fee

2026-2027 Financial Structure
We keep groups small (maximum 8 learners; 10 for Playschool Plus) to ensure deep focus.
Groups require a minimum of 5 learners to launch and remain viable.
Because operating costs are shared, monthly fees drop for everyone as enrollment grows:
5 learners: $420/month per child
6 learners: $400/month per child
7 learners: $380/month per child
8 learners (Full): $360/month per child

Playschool Plus for Kindergarten Eligible Children (Flat Rate):
5 days: $440/month
3 days: $360/month

Playschool Plus

Playschool Plus is our signature playschool class, designed specifically for children who are kindergarten-eligible (turning 5 by December 1st). This unique program serves both homeschool families and public-school-track families seeking a structured gap year.
Our intentional morning schedule runs from 9:15 AM to 12:15 PM, keeping your afternoons completely open for family time. Children can attend an optional extended day until 1:15 (Or 2 PM if staying for the Family Block) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
To maintain a simple structure, we offer flat-rate pricing rather than a sliding scale model:
3-Day Schedule (Tue–Thu): $360
5-Day Schedule (Mon–Fri): $460 (Extended Days are only available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
All-Inclusive Value: Both options fully include our academic blocks, small-group instructional centers, and plenty of built-in time for play. Playschool Plus is capped at 10 learners.
