~ Heather Fais ~
Heather Fais is teaching violin at the First Baptist Church of Manlius.
Heather is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance. After participating in the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC and Spoleto, Italy, she moved to Germany, where she was a member of the Heilbronn Chamber Orchestra, Bamberg Symphony, and the Württemberg State Opera Orchestra Stuttgart. In 1984, she returned to the U. S. to accept a position with the Syracuse Symphony, of which she was a member until it was disbanded in 2012. In addition to her private violin students, Heather performs with Symphoria, the Seneca String Quartet and has performed with the Kansas City String Festival, the Garth Newell Music Center Festival of Virginia, the Skaneateles Festival, and the Merry-Go-Round Theater orchestra.
Heather is also a Registered Nurse working at Loretto Health and Rehabilitation as an RN supervisor after completing her A.A.S. degree in Nursing at Morrisville State College in May 2014 and receiving her RN license in July 2014.
